Welcome to Girlbass, the ultimate DJ club for girls who are ready to learn how to spin and mix their favourite tracks. At Girlbass, we do more than just teach the art of DJing—we build confidence, ignite creativity, and create a sisterhood.

Whether you're a total beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, we’ve got you covered with 1-2-1 sessions, group classes, and monthly workshops tailored to your goals. We offer sessions on both turntables and controllers in a safe, fun, and empowering environment.

Our classes take place in the heart of vibrant Brighton at South Lanes Studios run by Mala Clough.

Originally from Leeds, Mala has been DJing for 7 years. She was originally taught at Leeds DJ school, which sparked her interest in the world of turntablism and DJ scratching. Since then she has moved to Brighton and played at various venues such as Komedia, The Tempest and The Admiral.
